Why would it say fault and not low tire?

I over filled to 60 psi and then brought them down to 40/44 f/r and it went away I will comment later if it comes back

Happy New year! Is the light coming on steady and just staying on with a message on the cluster for low tire pressure? Or is the light blinking for the first 75 seconds and then staying on steady with a message of "tire pressure monitor system fault"? If it's the latter you need to scan it and see what the code is. If it's the first scenario then it's just your pressures.

Well I have had both of those lol. It has been off for three days now.

I plan on getting it scanned soon
