2010 Tacoma DC LB Sliders

I recently added a set of bolt on sliders courtesy of Jason @ Perkins Performance here in the Puget Sound area of WA. I havn't seen too many Tacoma LB trucks with rock sliders, so I thought I'd post a few pics.

For those that are curious, 101" long / 74 lbs ea / 25 degree angle / Grade-8 hardware incl / six drill holes required on each side.

Thanks. I did consider a kickout initially, but these seemed huge enough already. The sliders on my last rig stuck out too far for my liking.
Although they did provide good protruding boulder and tree protection, we were always banging into them and navagating carefully when stepping out of the cab. These are a happy medium.

They are extended 15" in length past the pinch weld behind the rear of the cab, which provides very adequate protection. The trailing edge of the square tubing was designed to be just about even with the bottom edge of the fender wells front and rear.

That's a lot of tube! They do look good and you can always resell them if someone you know flies a UH-1 Huey helicopter and needs new skids...
