2011+ JK interior question.

Does anyone have pictures of the 2011+ JK with the half door option ( 2 door version )?

Does anyone have pictures of the 2011+ manual crank window hard door?

Thanks you.

Just the door panel and 'armrest' area.

How do you like the 2011 interior?

I also heard there was a change in the window ( upper ) of the half door. Something about a smaller opening.

Pics of the new interior I hate. But sitting in it is totally different. I like the organic lines and curves. One bad thing is there are no gaps or exposed attachment points for add on mods.

If you need more pics... Let me know.

No I do like it now that I have one.

Hard to explain, just saying you can't go by pics on Jeep's site or marketing materials (I did not like it when I saw pics).

I think the only way to decide if you like it is to be in one.

But all of the old places that we could mount mods are gone. You cant find one screw or gap in any part of the dash.

Went from a 04 TJ to a 2011 JK. You can't crack your window if it is raining in my JK or the rain runs right in. No "gutter" built into the soft top like the TJ had.

Thanks for the info. I have only briefly been in the 2011 interior. It was the nicer version I think with power everything. I am wondering how the manual version compares.

To me the 2011+ interior was very nice....but almost un-jeeplike it was so nice.

I ordered mine so that i could get rid of all the fancy power options and $$$ radio (I did get the connectivity package).

I agree it is very un-jeeplike... but after a day or so in it, with cruse control (manual trans), audio and phone controls on the steering wheel, driver seat height adj. etc - I am a fan. Off-road it's a Jeep - on the highway it's one hell of a nice ride.

In the TJ I could reach over to the pas side while driving and easily roll up or down the window. In the JK it's just a little to far to do safely... but is do able ;)

lol...

I hear ya. I don't nostalgic (too often at least) to reach over unzipper my TJ windows. I'm alright with continually improving interiors - especially if it lets Jeep sell more vehicles and maintain/improve their capabilities.

exterior and capabilities its very jeep like, interior its more mercedes than jeep...

I'm gonna go ahead and guess you don't frequent the inside of Mercs... That said, my 05 Rubi WAS a lot more "Jeepish" inside than our 2011 Rubicon is. But, we also drive a whole lot further in the new one, so the comfort is appreciated!
