Hi! I'm new to this community. I live in NorCal and I bought a used Frontier Pro-4X a few weeks ago and started converting it into a little adventure truck.
I didn't do the latest and greatest since we are on a budget, but what I did so far:
- Hitch installation
- New car stereo (Pioneer) and license plate backup camera
- Plasti-dipped scratched rims and grill.
- New Pro-4X decals, the 2011 ones were ugly
- Custom-built rack from https://www.hotmetalfab.com/ << If you are in the market for a rack, I can totally recommend them!
- Smittybuilt Overlander Tent
- Installed lock and a chain to secure my mountain bike from theft. I regret drilling into the bed though. I should have bought this one instead https://www.amazon.com/Master-Lock-8251DAT-Track-Locking/dp/B007OSL3I4
What I'm planning to do next is to work more on the electrical system:
- Aux. battery
- DC/DC charger, connected to alternator and solar panels
- Diesel Heater
- Fridge
- 4G modem
