I just bought a new 2011 Tacoma DC 4x4 TRD Sport a few weeks ago. I sold a F350 and a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This is the best of both worlds. Since I got it, the mods have begun. Tinted windows, Sluglid SL tonneau, RCD Lift, Ballistic Offroad Wheels, and 285 70 17 Duratracs. I love this truck. It fits all of my needs right now and is a great daily driver. Here are some pics.

Nice truck, but after you wheel it a couple times, you will realize you don't like the tires sticking out so far and throwing rocks and stuff all up on the sides of the truck and beating the paint off.

Very true, but it all depends on what he plans to do with his truck.
If he wheels like Pirate or TTORA - I would agree that the removal of wheels, RCD lift and step sides: because they would be not survive or handle very well. Lots of scratches, torn/bent metal...etc.

If he wheels on fire roads and single and maybe dual diamond trails - his truck will do fine.

BTW- love the new look of the factory grill and the "YETI RESCUE" Sticker.

Exactly. It's a daily driver. I will not be banzai'ing through the desert or running sledgehammer like trails with this one. Fire roads, mine exploration, and getting to our cabin in the Snow is what I have in mind.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
