The TW buzz is that pre-2014 2nd gen Tundas can have serious mpg hits if they aren't regeared when higher loads and bigger tires are added. The Dirty Deeds guy claimed the computer didn't compensate properly. I definitely don't have that with my 2016, with fat 35s and a big camper and no regear.

I'd look into a regear or tune, and that goes for your Tacoma as well. Do you cruise in tow-haul mode? If not, try that. Maybe try S mode and block out 6th.

37s aren't a problem neccessarily except for making the gearing even higher, but the specific tire might have high rolling resistance.
I’m regeared with 4:88’s and 35’s and a magnuson. There was a slight increase once I added the supercharger but it’s still bad. I have the camper on all the time and only drive it to camp so I don’t care about the mileage. i added an LRA 33 gallon tank that helps.

The 4.30 gears have been great, plenty of low end off road but still has enough top end to drive comfortably on the highway.
