2012 tacoma brakes feel strange

My brakes on my 2012 tacoma feel strange to me. The pedal makes a noise when pressed like air leaking and the pedal is extremely hard and touchy.I would think booster leak until I was told the truck doesn't have a traditional booster

Toyota looked at it and said it was functioning as designed but I'm still suspect. Any of this sound normal to anyone?

In the end, there's a TSB mentioned... I have seen this issue on another 2012, we offered a quick bleed and/or checking vacuum pressure at the booster, but owner wanted to see what the dealer/factory will do since it was under warranty... From driving it, it seems there's way too much vacuum pressure, or there's way too much bias towards the rear, hard to tell fro few minutes of driving.. . Good luck.

My brakes on my 13 have made a noise like that since day one. I'm surprised it's never annoyed me since I'm usually irritable about random noises. I didn't even really notice until my wife said, "isn't that noise driving you nuts?" Anyway, the brakes feel and work fine otherwise.
