Bought a new used 2013, Tundra, Platinum Crew Max, 5.5' bed.
... need to mount our Palomino Real Lite pop up.
Needs:
We need the camper off the truck when not in use ~ daily driver.
Camping is all seasons (winter in Tahoe), and some boondock camping 4x4
New truck is super clean (and I keep it that way). I want a clean install.
Need Suggestions re: mounting brackets, tie downs.
We've had a 1st gen. Tundra with a Phoenix (very similar to FWC) that bolted down through the bed.
It was a pain getting it all lined up every time.
We've had the Palomino on the 1st gen. too. Welded hitch receivers to the frame and after market tow hitch. (slide in tie downs)
this was great but the new truck does not have any surfaces that can be welded to.
Torklift sells a bracket for both front n back. Suggested?
Happijack has something similar. ???
McGyver anybody?
thanks in advance!
