Nice Rig... Did your camper come with the lights?
I am looking at another Ram for my next truck. Like you it would be my DD and expo build.

cab lights

The topper lights are a factory option from ARE. I totally re-wired and put in a rocker switch drilled into the bed side though. They come with a crappy dome light switch that broke about 10 times and topper guys wiring sucks. They like to just wire nut things together down by the hitch where they are REALLY well protected from moisture.

I just ordered a 16' mega cab 3500 with a manual. I really don't like the auto in this truck, miss shifting and could use the mega cab space. I am trying to do less real work in my business these days so don't use the long bed as much.

The new mega will get my new AEV wheels/tires, a full Carli 3" kit with 2.5 Kings, and likely an AEV bumper

wheeling

By the way, you can take a CCLB pretty far off road if you aren't afraid of damaging it. Back tire is about 4' off the ground in this one. Only other vehicles on this trail were quads, and 1 4runner on 37's.

Deplorable
I really enjoy the looks of the AEV Bumper. It's one of the best looking aftermarket bumpers out there. But something to consider, it doesn't improve approach over the factory one bit.

I think you will really like the manual trans. I know I love it in my 2008 Hemi Power Wagon. Everyone seems to complain about 1st gear being so low. The Low gear ratios & the manual trans & the 4.56's are the reason I ordered my truck & haven't looked back since. I did switch out the fluid the 2nd day I had it though. It shifted so hard I thought it was defective. I drained it all (magnet looked like a spike hair doo with all the metal on it at just 198 miles) & replaced with 1/2 ATF+4 and 1/2 Lucas Lube 140w gear oil. Worked great. Shifted 1000% better. I drained & refilled again at 15k just to see. It was as clean and red as the day i put it in and the magnet was clean. No issues since. During winter, I put the trans case in N, then put it in 4th gear & let the clutch out, for a few minutes to get the fluid going. Works great.

I've read quite a few times on the Cummins trucks that you can jack up one side of the truck and add more fluid from the boot from inside the truck and makes it shift smoother and quieter. Not sure if a gas manual and Cummins manual are the same though.
