Genuine question. This obviously looks like crap specially all torn apart but what would you have used or done different back in 2014 and what would you do different now while considering weight, easy repairs, bending of pipes, and the small space.
You are surely being sarcastic. Most garage work is better. lol.

But just in case you are not here is a simple diy project done by someone. Note how organized it is, things line up, lines are fixed to a surface or proper standoffs used at the fittings …. Basic attention to detail and quality work did not begin in 2015.

Let’s don’t even get started on the mess we see with the wiring running all over creations with what appears to be an unthinkable amount of splices.

First off, I acquired it in 2020 with it having a rebuilt title. I've done a few other adventure vehicle builds prior to getting the ER, namely an LMTV, 2500 Ram with 4 wheel camper as well as a 5500 Ram with a flatbed camper on. By far this ER has been the best vehicle from a comfort and mechanical "go anywhere" stand point, especially because it is equipped with Kelderman air suspension. Changing the tires and brakes is not that hard, and the repairs that I've done have been pretty easy as long as you have the right tools. I've never needed to bend pipes🤷‍♂️. The "small space" as you put it is deceiving. It is actually relatively roomy and there is a ton of storage space for equipment and clothes and food. So the only thing that I'd do differently is not attempt to remodel the interior.😂 BTW: I also have a sprinter van for more road trip excursions but the ER had been the go to for off road and off grid excursions. Here's couple of pics of the interior before I tore it up.

Agreed! Hence my wanting to redo the interior in part to clean that stuff up.

Good on you. You are not the first person to take apart one of their products to find questionable work.

I expect if you have gotten this far you are capable of proper plumbing and wiring. At that point maybe contact @PaulJensen to see if he would provide some magical cabinetry for you.

Thanks for the "bump" and the contact info. I'm also planning on making the ridiculously large pass through smaller for more security.

I see a wire nut...I doubt ER would be using those.
