2014 FG hard starting

My Fuso has been starting hard, almost sounds like the starter is struggling or grinding. Today the truck wouldn’t start at all till the weather warmed up and even then starter sounded ruff. The truck has new battery’s and I’m wondering if anyone else has had starter problems?

I thought the battery was going in our 2010 then in a heat wave the starter went. We got one jump of the solenoid and it died completely.

I had an occasional slow starter for a few years. I finally figured out that when I had the transmission rebuilt they had failed to connect the heavy ground wire from the frame to the bell housing. Once I reconnected that wire the problem was solved.

Had the starter tested and they said it was fine, still didn’t sound the best or start the truck fast. Finally decided to buy a new one and the truck has never fired up so quickly.

That doesn't inspire a lot of confidence, does it.
But... it's good that you have resolved the issue.
