I have just completed a 30,000 mile trip around all of north america and the Outback is now for sale> Since I live on the big island of Hawaii I will need to sell before returning home.

Most of you are familiar with the Outback which i built in Bend Oregon by Host Industries. My RV has many features in addition the what is offered in the basic model. Starting from the front end we have a heavy duty and wonderful constructed bull bar bumper with a 12,000 pound warn winch. The interior features after market leather seats which are adjustable and feature suspension and inflatable lumbar support as well as arm rests for great comfort on those long hauls. Since I just finish 30k I can tell you the seats are a wonder!

My Outback has additional storage cupboards above the cab access to the bed, and a LCD TV which can be viewed from the bed or rotated to fill the space between the refrigerator and the hanging locker. This is great for viewing from the settee. There is an auto tracking satellite system and a shelf for AV components and DVDs.

The refrigerator is a state-of-the-art NOVA COOL which I have used in several exploration boats and is not only efficient but extremely reliable. I have never had a failure with a NOVA COOL!

All the interior lighting is LED which is very efficient and bright.

I added about $14,000 in heating, domestic water heating and solar systems, listed below

THE OUTBACK SYSTEMS

Heating System

- Espar Hydronic Furnace 5 D-WS!

- Comfort Hot tank with 1.5KW (5,000 btu) electric heating element!

With only 30k miles and a factory warranty of 175k the Outback is ready to go for decades to come.

The total for all this fun cost me just over 175k and I am asking $145,000

The Outback is in Washington state near Anacortes Washington until i leave for Hawaii at the end of September

Pictures please! Sounds great and I like the systems you installed. Did you use a diesel fueled stove as well? GLWS!

I HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO DO PHOTOS? Old guy with limited computer skills but i have hundreds if I find a way. Face book has many (bob summers)

I have had 2 diesel fueled stoves and never real liked the way they cooked for my style of cooking. I used propane for this and was amazed how little i used on the 15 month trip (one refill) Not using propane for heating and hot water was the goal and it was so worth the effort.
