Interesting to see that the Rubicon X seems to be a 10A just without 10A badges...

Kind of sucks for the 10A guys though.

AMEN! I paid a LOT for my wife's 10A...even with my Chrysler Discount! Makes me want to sell them a lot less because I feel less valued as a customer. Sad really because I personally sell more jeeps than anyone else in my area! I also own a 2013 JKU Rubicon as MY vehicle. (Yes that is two 13 Rubicon's)

Now another thought just occurred to me. It may be that Chrysler ordered many parts for the 10A Rubicon's, and did not get as many orders for them as they anticipated. That would leave a surplus of parts. Since you could not very well sell Tenth Anniversary Editions on in the Eleventh Year, it might be prudent to create a new package which would use that surplus. Still sucks I paid so much more for the "ultimate" special edition though!

Just ordered a 2 weeks almost our Rubicon Unlimited and just found out about the X. Its there that much difference? And does it only come in Anvil. We ordered our loaded and without leather in Billet. Only think I like about the X is the hood. We are new to Jeeps after renting one in Sedona we were hooked and can't wait for ours. Seems like alot of the xtras are things I can add later with aftermarket parts, bumpers, guards, etc. Any thoughts for a newbie?

Just keep the one you ordered and dont worry about the Rubicon X. You can get all of those extras aftermarket and pay less and choose the mods. AEV and MOPAR are basically the same company in reference to mods.

JEEP = Just Empty Every Pocket. This term comes from the fact that you can buy and bolt on virtually any possible component you can dream of. Jeeps are the ultimate upgradable toy. There are tons of brands out there, and they all have their merits, except SmittyBuilt.

Bumpers: AEV/Hanson/Rockhard/tons of others
Winches: Viking/Warn/Superwinch, no others
Suspension: AEV/ARB (OME)/Currie, a few others
Drivetrain: Superior makes good stuff
Misc bits: Currie/ARB/AEV are all good, there are many others.
