DIY Relay Panel

I wanted to buy an aftermarket relay/fuse panel for my Jeep, but I already had a lot of the parts necessary to build one myself. I'm not very handy with electrical, but I tried to give it a crack anyway. So far everything works as planned. I was able to daisy chain my switches together and get all 4 kc's to turn on with one switch. Altogether it cost me about $30.

I recently installed a rubicon rear bumper, its like the hard rock version. I picked it up on craigslist for $50. It is a huge upgrade over the faded plastic bumper because it actually works as a step to my gobi ladder. Hopefully I will find a deal on the swing out attachment in the future.

That is absolutely a Hard Rock bumper. The Rubicon bumper is the same plastic bumper the sports use. $50 was an absolute steal.

Smittybilt Storage Vault

I bought this Smittybilt Storage Vault off of craigslist for $190. They retail around $370. I think its a great product...for $190. If it didn't rattle so much it would definitely be worth $370. I keep tools and camping gear inside it so I am ready to go camping at a moments notice. I plan on putting some slide on top of it for a future arb cooler or an ice chest.

Waterproof Fuse and Relay Box

I recently installed the Waterproof Fuse and Relay Box to clean up some of my wiring and to give me more relays. It cost $130 shipped and is a great alternative to spod.

I took the smittybilt storage vault out because it made so much noise and rattled constantly. I would recommend not purchasing this product if you want a shred of sanity after driving on a dirt road

Off-Road in Lockwood Valley

I took the Jeep out to my favorite trail with my sisters and niece. I recently installed a set of ACE rock sliders, thank goodness I did otherwise I may have incurred some serious damage. You can check the trail experience out in the video.

Decided to trade my Sport in on a Rubicon

After contemplating putting in lower gears and a locker for some time, I decided to trade my Sport in on a Rubicon. After driving the Rubicon to Southern California I am so glad I made the purchase. The Rubicon is so much smoother and better equipped. Anyways, I tore down all the goodies off of my Jeep and installed them on the Rubicon.

Rubicon Upgrades

I purchased a brand new 2017 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited with a automatic transmission. It is pretty loaded it has power everything, the Uconnect package, slush mats, and even heated seats. The only option I really wanted were the 4.10 gears, but it was discounted so much that it was only $1000 more than a base Rubicon. Anyways, I took all the old parts of my Sport and put them on the Rubicon. It took me about 8 hours to do all the work myself in my apartment driveway.

It was really easy because I had already installed everything once before. It took me way longer to put everything on the first time.

Pics of the Rubicon

Here you can see my lighting arrangement for the Jeep and how I have it all hooked up. My next plan is for some LED reverse lights mounted on the back of the roof rack






Here you can see the difference between the Rubicon factory LED's, my LED light bar and my KC lights. The factory LED's are just better. Save yourself time and money and just get the factory ones.

Rubicon Interior

I enjoy driving this Jeep so much more than my last jeep. I didn't have power windows, or lock in my 2015. This new Rubicon has the Uconnect touch screen, slush mats, and a power inverter built in. The inverter is so useful for charging camera equipment and anything else you would use day to day. I also reinstalled my tuffy security box on the Rubicon. I absolutely love tuffy products they never rattle and they are well built. I also swapped my cobra 75 into the new Jeep.
