I’m selling my beloved 2015 JKUR that I special ordered new in 2015. 75k miles. Legendary Anvil color with matching M-416 trailer and RTT. Always garaged and meticulously taken care of. I have service records at the Jeep dealership dating back to the day I purchased it. Detailed twice a year, and undercoated yearly. Rarely driven in winter so barely any rust. Paint and Interior is easily a 9/10. After picking up the Jeep new at the dealership, I wasn’t willing to wait to ship the Jeep to AEV for the upfit, so I bought all of the AEV JK350 parts at OK4WD which is local to me and installed everything in a week. Please read the entire list of upgrades below; everything was professionally installed and all the modifications were tastefully chosen to keep a semi-factory appearance yet make this Jeep more than capable for anything you put in its way.
Trailer:
I built the trailer by modifying a military 1966 Steven’s M-416 trailer. An insane amount of time went into designing and fabricating it, including extending the tongue and reinforcing the chassis. The entire trailer was taken fully apart, and the tub and lid were sandblasted, galvanized, and then powder coated in the matching Anvil color. The interior of the tub is powder coated in textured black. The chassis was stripped to bare metal and was thoroughly prepped before applying 2 coats of POR-15 Rust Inhibitor and 1 cost of POR-15 UV-resistant Top Coat. The tongue was extended roughly 36” for in order to fit a tongue box, Jerry can holder, aHydraulic Jack, and a Lock-N-Roll hitch. This extension also helped greatly with the maneuverability and it is extremely easy to reverse with. The axle is a new Dexter axle with trailer brakes, as well new the leaf springs, bushings, grade-8 zinc-coated hardware, and tongue box. Inside the tongue box, you have a deep-cycle battery connected to an S-pod with 6 Aux switches, as well as a water pump connected to the Front Runner Water tanks, to have pressurized water on demand. A new heavy-duty custom trailer bumper was fabricated to match the trailer lid design and it features recessed LED lights. I reused my original Mopar tire carrier from my jeep and modified it to fit the trailer and added the AEV third brake light kit. The trailer tracks beautifully and I took it on a 19k mile round trip across the country and never once had an issue. The Jeep pulls it with ease and it gets an insane amount of attention!
RTT:
James Baroud Explorer rooftop top tent in Anvil color, mounted to AEV rack. Full sized memory-foam mattress. I also have the interior insulation kit which is for cold weather sleeping, as well as a new set of premium bedding and a mattress protector.
Only reason I’m selling this setup is because I ordered a Prospector XL and I don’t drive the Jeep much any more and it’s taking valuable garage space. The Jeep is ready for a new home and will make anyone who purchases it extremely happy for years to come. You can fly here, I’ll pick you up, and you can drive it home and ideally camp along the way!
