2015 RAM 4500 and 2005 Bigfoot 3000 Series Camper FOR SALE!

Location: Charleston, SC – will drive to meet buyer if needed.

I spent two months this summer traveling through Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming in this rig with my wife and our two boys. We had an incredible time in the camper and it worked well for a family of four with two small children. We plan to spend next summer doing a similar trip, but I’m selling the rig because I work remotely and it was difficult not being able to easily separate the truck and camper while I was trying to finish out a full workday and my wife wanted to take the boys adventuring. We plan to purchase a tow behind camper so we can have that flexibility. This rig will be great for anyone not requiring that type of setup. Truck recently inspected by Precision Diesel in Charleston, SC – no leaks and no issues with engine or drivetrain. Make me an offer!

KNOWN PROBLEMS:

Buckstop Super Single Conversion was done by the previous owner. The conversion requires removing/cutting away a portion of the wheel well and installing a metal backer plate. They did not remove enough of the cab for the 41” tires so they will rub the metal plate when attempting to make a sharp turn (beyond 90 degrees such as a U-turn). They do not rub when making a normal left or right turn under your everyday driving conditions. I spent two months living full-time in the camper this summer and it was not a huge issue. That being said, I did have several shops take a look at fixing the problem and also spoke with Buckstop directly. I was told it will require approximately $2000 worth of labor to fix this issue.

Thanks! I’ve tried to price it to sell quickly and not have to haggle on the price even though I think the total value is greater. I also know that the potential buyer might want to have the body work done to improve the turning radius in tight spaces so have taken that into consideration as well. I’ll be losing some money compared to what I paid for the rig and accounting for recent camper upgrades that have been made, but I’m ready to move on to the next rig and get back out on the road! It’ll be a great setup for someone.
