No, not a Raptor rival but more of TRD Pro rival…

Pretty ugly and pretty disappointing they continue to use the electric Rotatory dial shifter to command the sweet ZF derived 8 speed.

Absolute fail. I was hoping for at least a 1500 power wagon, and at best a raptor fighter. Why nobody goes after the raptor I have no idea. The truck kills it for Ford.

Dodge once again trying to make money off a badge slapped on the back and a big fugly grille with no real mechanical changes or upgrades. Who the heck would buy this rather than buying a regular 1500 and spending half the money on BETTER aftermarket upgrades?

At least the raptor makes some significant upgrades over the regular F-150. Heck, even toyotas TRD pro package is enough of an upgrade to warrant a different badge over the regular truck.

So it's basically a one inch lift and an appearance package? ****** why couldn't they do more?

I get that these are mass produced products, but it's just dumb when the difference between lots of models is almost completely cosmetic. If you can put a different tailgate or grill on a product, then why not change something functional instead?

The 1" lift and 33's is not bad, people generally have way more lift and tire than they will ever use. The interior has a little too much bling for me though.

I can see it as a less expensive alternative to the PW for people that want stand apart looks, but do not need the function of a specialty truck like a PW or Raptor. The front seats though?? If you don't get Toyo A/Ts for replacement tires, you will not match. That just will not do, I will not buy a Rebel because of this single fact.

Underbite front bumpers and stamped tailgates for all trucks!

Seriously, do all the manufactures use the same design team now?

I was hoping for larger decals and brand imaging. Bonus the 'RAM' on the tailgate is not removable/stamped into the sheet metal, keeps me from de-badging in a weak moment and thus missing being identified... like a school bus from 2 miles out. Embarrassing that US market trend analysis led to multi-$m development...
