2015 Renegade Trailhawk

The Renegade can be lifted but not the Cherokee. Thanks, Jeep...

Yeah, I noticed that too...messed up! I actually test-drove a 2014 Grand Cherokee the dealer still had on the lot (shocking since this was only a month ago). It had all the options and I was really close to making the purchase given the huge price discount, but when I checked aftermarket products for it...NADA. Couldn't believe it given how much can be done with the older model Cherokees. Oh well...I can't complain much since I ended up with my JKUR, but that Grand Cherokee was sweet.

TF-41 will fit

A TruckFridge (TF-41) will fit in the trunk. ;-)

The current issue we have is the odd bolt pattern: 5x110. There is no standard Trailer Hub with the same bolt pattern. And the wheel adapters are not legal here.

This 5x110mm (A.K.A. 5x4.33") lug pattern is a fairly common General Motors lug pattern.

Our 'Gader has been treating us right!

Get's better gas milage than our Volvo!

Recently got a Mt. Shasta CVT tent to go with it. Designing a slide out camp kitchen for the back now.

You know - after 40 years of roaming the west - most our western lands can be accessed just fine with a rig like this. No need for 37" tires, super-axle-articulation and front & rear lockers...

Buy your Rengade Trailhawk, and enjoy the greatness of our western states!

I will be keeping my Wrangler, but dang, I can completely understand the desire for a 30 mpg rig that will handle most of what I do with the Wrangler anyway.

Yep. said perfectly. The trailhawk can go pretty well anywhere you want. probably only 1% of the jeep population rock crawl. I have the wrangler for the physical size. I need the rear room to haul around the family. I had the patriot, and it was awesome too, but not enough interior room for what we needed. But if it were just my wife and I, the renegade is perfect.

I love what you've done with your Renegade! I only wish that it had actual low range gearing and a rear diff lock like the new Cherokee does. How have you found the faux low-range (transmission 1st gear) to be on steep climbs at low speeds at high altitude?
