I owe you folks some pic's and coming soon. I got the hatches (all 5) in place in it started raining yet again.. Is the Nor'east becoming a rainforest? Interior got wet as most sealants didn't dry in time. Today was mostly recovery time and getting those dam hatches tight! I have about 12hrs of dry time and it all starts again... rain that is.. argh

Question for ya's. Here's what I think I'm doing with the hatch doors. Personally, I think it could be done for entrance & windows DIY'ers.

If you can follow the picture, The angle exceeds the side wall in an attempt to push water away from the gap. Again the door is set back to further this attempt. The door is sealed by the gasket and the angle becomes the last means of defense of water intrusion. That should give me 4 points of defense of intrusion.

Any thoughts or improvements?

Several folks couldn't follow the 2d drawing.. I'm a lightweight on CAD, yet can do enough to walk through a design and find flaws. Helps me a lot, just others have a hard time seeing what I drew..
I've finished the hatches now and found a couple weak areas that I've fixed. Basic idea was good, just needed some tweaking.

My windows are due here on Tuesday! I am so stoked! It almost makes the 180° awning on Friday an 'Okay' kinda thing.. Awning I can travel without, but windows!! Working my door & draw fronts now and getting a push to get 'er done! 180° awning on Friday!! Windows (did I mention) on Tuesday!

Windows alone are an item, the screen/privacy curtain is an add on. I have both as I ordered. Interesting is that neither depends on the other for install. I thought they would, yet it is an add-on. For me that's great! For you and if you don't have.. a possible add-on!

I'll get into this on a video at some point unless its important to you.

Pulled the sink and frig counters to get the paneling in. Last time those are removed, I hope.. Veneer for those upper cabs may be here before we leave, but we are leaving anyway! I am so looking for to a run!!!
