I haven't scaled it but payload should be somewhere around 3000lbs. I think these gas trucks come in around 7000lbs curb weight. GVWR is 10000lbs.

It may be a touch lighter than I thought:

6230lbs internet curb weight + 400lbs for camper shell and bed slide = 6630lbs
10000lbs GVWR - 6630lbs curb weight guestimate = 3370lbs payload available

I happened to be at the recycling center yesterday and ran it over the scale. It weighed 7,120lbs with me (~180lbs) in it plus the aluminum cargo slide (~150lbs). So 10,000lbs GVRW - curb weight of 7,120lbs = 2,880lbs payload. 3,030lbs if you ditch the cargo slide.

Thanks for the quick response Quattro. My brother is looking for a 250 4x4 gasser so this is right inline with what he is looking for. We are over in IL but we are up in Wisconsin until the later part of next week. If it is still available then I may hit you up about coming over to look at it.
