I've often been astonished at how well A-Trac works on my FJ.

I suppose that's a possibility... so were destroyed rear 3rd's that toyota refused to fix in early 2nd gen Tacoma's and FJC's just whining as well?

Point being, Toyota, like all MFG's, have to market a lifestyle... and often do not warranty the lifestyle they market. Toyota is as guilty of this as anyone.
