2017 4Runner Maintenance @ 60K

The 4Runner is working great and has been absolutely problem free from the Arctic Ocean to Mexico. She has been maintained on Toyota's recommended schedule, but as I am coming up on 60K miles I was wondering about any specific maintenance that the experience of the group might recommend. Original brake pads (and they look good). The belt? Fluids from front to back? Wheel bearings? Battery(s)? Still running the KO2's I put on her at 25 miles...so new shoes are on the docket prior to summer adventures.

Anything additional y'all would look at to make sure she was backcountry prepared?

Thanks.

IIRC, the transmission is sealed now... and everything else *should* be covered in the manual. Personally, I'd not touch anything other than fluids, if needed. I see no value in changing something that is in working order.

As a Euro Car Tech for the last 25+ years this is my list and what I'll do to my Tacoma at 60K.....

1. Front Diff fluid
2. Rear Diff fluid
3. T-Case
4. Drain and Fill trans (twice) to (no filter) refresh fluid and additives
5. Air Filter and Cabin Filter (If done recently, never mind. I do both every 20K on my truck)
6. Spark Plugs (I've seen a lot of spark plugs seized in aluminum heads and/or coils fail due to the xtra load of a worn plug over the years)
7. Flush the Brake Fluid
8. Lube the Drive Shafts if they have Zerks (Toyota did away with them on my 2019 Taco, everybody is headed towards "built to an image instead of a standard these days")
9. Swap out the accessory belt and inspect the pullies while you're there (keep the old belt for a "just in case"
10. Crawl under the thing and give it a good once over.......

YMMV RON
