2017 Nissan Armada (US Spec Patrol)

I'm pretty excited actually. This is a good indication that Nissan is really globalizing it's lineup, which I like, and that means the new Armada is basically a Patrol, which is also a good thing. Yes, it's been given fully independent suspension, but I can't see Nissan neutering their all-star 4x4. I'm sure it will still be awesomely capable. Remember, the LC200 is all independent suspension as well.
With the intro of this platform to the US, it should come with the Patrol's aftermarket. That means another cool overland platform. I like it.
Now please Nissan, for the love of GOD, show me the new Frontier!!!

If I didn't like cruisers so much I would get a patrol in a heart beat. This will be sweet if it comes out.

I'm pretty jazzed about it. Looks a hell of a lot better than that ugly as sin Infiniti it's replacing. And the Armada.

Just to clarify, the patrol has become the armada/qx80 not the other way around. They still do sell the real Y61's so that's a plus. If you want to see the new frontier just have a look at the outgoing Navara, it's most likely going to be identical. Throw the 2.8 Cummins into the truck and you have a good deal. I'm speculating that the new Armada will share more in common with the new light duty Titan than the XD chassis which suggests that the V8 5.0 Cummins will not match with the Y62/QX80/Armada chassis.

The new QX80 which has been state side was the first on the Patrol platform. It's nice that now you can get a version with cloth seats and a significantly lower msrp with the Nissan badge. I like it. Interested to see how the new endurance V8 does in this and the new Titan.
