It seems like the U.S. version will be without locker. The descent control and terrain selection are just "programs" right? I wonder if there will be a "Off Road" or "Pro-4X" type version for '18 with locker. The 2017/18 Armada will likely be a 2 MY run because the new Patrol/QX80/Armada is slated for '19 model year, as I understand it.

Thanks to its All MODE 4x4 Multi Surface Selection technology, the Patrol really is an all road, all rounder. With a simple button push you're ready to take on a snow covered alp, traverse through boggy bush or conquer an outback desert.

A system so advanced, it responds instantly to changing road conditions and continuously adjusts the amount of power distributed to each axle to help maintain control. All-Mode automatically switches to 4WD to improve traction on lower-friction surfaces, and switches back to 2WD for optimal fuel economy when more traction is available.
Albeit a hamstrung version for the U.S., it's at the top of my list of potential family trucksters.
