2017 Nissan Armada (US Spec Patrol)

Judging from the initial pics of the stateside Armada, it doesn't appear to have the multi-terrain 4x4 setting, downgrade control, or locking rear diff. I also didn't see any mention of the interior "cool box". I'm hoping this isn't the case, but I guess we will just have to wait and see. Regardless, I'm planning on getting one at the end of the year for the wife!

It seems like the U.S. version will be without locker. The descent control and terrain selection are just "programs" right? I wonder if there will be a "Off Road" or "Pro-4X" type version for '18 with locker. The 2017/18 Armada will likely be a 2 MY run because the new Patrol/QX80/Armada is slated for '19 model year, as I understand it.

Thanks to its All MODE 4x4 Multi Surface Selection technology, the Patrol really is an all road, all rounder. With a simple button push you're ready to take on a snow covered alp, traverse through boggy bush or conquer an outback desert.

A system so advanced, it responds instantly to changing road conditions and continuously adjusts the amount of power distributed to each axle to help maintain control. All-Mode automatically switches to 4WD to improve traction on lower-friction surfaces, and switches back to 2WD for optimal fuel economy when more traction is available.

Albeit a hamstrung version for the U.S., it's at the top of my list of potential family trucksters.
