2017 North American Solar Eclipse - Planning/Discussion

I was thinking of heading to the Tetons since it will be moving right over them. The tricky part is finding a place that isn't super packed, I want to do multiple shots of the sun moving across the sky so I need a place to basically spend most of the day in one spot.
 
- Much like a pinhole camera, the leaves of a tree will act as apertures and project the crescent of the eclipse in their shadow.

This is true. I've seen it during partial eclipses. It's very neat to see the ground covered with dozens of little crescents from the eclipse.
