Up for sale is my family’s beloved 2017 Sportsmobile Sprinter 4x4 with custom open floor plan that seats 5. Van has 30k miles and has only been maintained by Mercedes. 40k service comes pre paid. It is completely dialed in and everything works perfectly for year round camping and off grid adventures. The rear seating is DOT approved and works perfectly for child seat. It comes with 150k mile transferable warranty through Mercedes and the build out is warranted by master up fitter Sportsmobile. It is registered and titled as an RV. It sleeps 4 and has multiple floor plan adjustments depending on needs. This van is so efficient it has never been plugged into power. We have over $140k invested in this custom Sportsmobile and will part with it for $130k. The van is less than a year old and was picked up at sportsmobile west march 2018. It is located in Truckee California. Feel free to email me with any questions at jordanaydelott@gmail.com

Are these really that much more than the Revel's? What's the main difference? (if anyone knows) New Revels are about $118K if you get a dealer to give you a break.

Great Looking rig. Bummer you have to sell it. Does it sleep 4? It looks like the Seat Bench may be a sofa/bed which is why I am asking. GLWS!

Im seeing revels for 135K-150k range? I recommend going to look at a Sportsmobile in person. The quality difference is obvious immediately. Very clean look, high quality materials and craftmanship. They can also be completely custom built to your personal needs, I prefer an open floor plans. If I removed the roof rack, suspension, skid plates, extra tires, pedal box, power step etc (revel does not have these) the price could be closer to that 118k price point.

Yes it sleeps 4. I have also had my daughter sleep in the front with the seats swiveled towards each other and 4 adults in the back. Look up the RB50 floor plan on sports mobiles website. It is similar to that where the bed is a fold down couch with a platform in the "garage area" that allows for the additional length needed to extend out making it 6'6" long sleeping lengthwise (bumper to bumper). Their is also another removable bed above that sleeps sideways which is why the flare space is needed. This is a one of a kind build and works flawlessly. I often have the lower bed extension removed (like in the photo) to allow for a bigger garage space for my dog. Also a pass through with a door for dog to squeeze through or to pass water and treats to him.

Does your investment include the cost of the SMB new in 2016/2017 when you bought it plus the cost of the upgrades?
I purchased the van new for 65K with the 150K warranty. The build out was 70K then upgraded suspension, skid plates etc

Interesting. Haven't seen a SMB in person yet. And 2018 Revels are $118-120k if you work with certain dealers. Some salesmen talk up limited availability but I found that to be very exaggerated, especially after seeing 7 show up at my local dealer two months ago. I can't speak to the '19's.

Yea those certainly are not quite as sought after as the Sportsmobiles

Revels in san diego are going for 110-112k now at lamesa rv. Mesa rv in arizona is also selling them for 112k. Now that demand from there release is falling price is falling. Im waiting for the new sprinter chassis that is 2-3 months out im being told. Lamesa is thinking the new chassis revels will be 115k to 117k but they cant be sure.

Its too bad winnebago bought so many of the 17' 18' 4x4's to make them revels. Im sure many of those 4x4's would've sold easier not being built out by winnebago lol....now there's a 4x4 shortage and who knows when the 19's will hit the ground. Pretty sure Sportsmobile has a 18 month wait on a 4x4’s

WOW those were suppose to retail way higher!! Bad sign they have to lower the price so much to move them. Meanwhile Sportsmobile has a 18 month waiting list ?. The retail is always inflated on rvs. You can get typically any rv for about 35% off of retail. The revels were a bit different when they first came out because of demand but Id expect they will stabilize areound 110-115k.

Sportsmobiles out of Texas and the franchise in San Diego are exceptionally well built vans. They are constructed like a sailboat in terms of quality and durability. We took our 2006 Sprinter on a 3-year road trip and everything stayed tight and functional. And this on many a gravel road and two-track. At the same time, 2 sets of friends who bought luxury Sprinters ( Airstream and Roadtrek), were replacing cabinets that had bounced out of place. One of those was a 4x4. The functionality of this particular Sprinter is perfect for more than 2 people. The center seat creates more open space than the one we had which had the narrower body and a settee in the stern.
