Yeah Scott. If they are enhanced sliders with a step added...I want some! :)

But it could also be like the Red Rock sliders with step that you can't buy aftermarket either... :(

axles Hmmm

That is a great thought I didn't think of that.. I was very close to pulling the trigger on a hard rock because in the end the price wasn't that much more than a baed and the things you got seemed worth it to me. Steel bumper and decent sliders come to mind plus I wanted leather and heated seat which were all part of the package , bu now the recon if it has beefier axles and these are from the 2018 ( which makes a ton of sense) is sounding pretty darn good but I got see that body.... all in all I can hardly wait. maybe when theJL get here there will be a few reckons left. decisions decisions?

There is always the issue with the first year offerings and getting the bugs worked out. Perhaps the Recon kind of eases in to that while moving a few more units out the door.

Who's going to be the brave one and buy a first year production Jeep JL?? Not me...I'll wait patiently with my 2016 for 2 or 3 model years until Jeep fixes all the issues with the JL.

The last rumor I heard was that the 2018 JL will not have a diesel for North America, but the 2019 or 2020 should. So I will be waiting until then at least.
