Ready to start Overlanding? This may be the Rig for you!

We built our trailer in 2018 and we have travelled from South Texas to Ontario Canada and from South Carolina to Arizona. We love our build and the ‘always thinking’ about something new to add to it. We are heading for a new adventure and are ready to pass this one on to the next adventurers. Here is our trailer build breakdown:

Located in Victoria, Texas.

  • CVT Summit Extended Mount Shasta Roof Top Tent with Annex mounted on an 80/20 aluminum rack
  • Fox Wing Eco 2.1 270 degree Awning
Chasis

  • Trailer is built on a 4x6 steel frame with a 2.5 x 2.5 250 wall 14ft trailer tongue (for easy traveling, backing up and jackknifing when necessary).
  • Max coupler off-road articulating hitch
  • 2500 lb axle with Dexter electric trailer breaks
  • Aluminum Wheels on CJ7 leaf-springs and air shocks
  • 2021 Kenda Kevlar AT tires 255/75/17
  • Arc Extreme off road 750 series trailer jack

  • 12 volt and USB supply mounted to the rack to supply power to the tent.
  • 110 Exterior outlet for shore power
Kitchen:
  • ARB 50 quart Fridge/Freezer
  • Campchef dual burner stove
  • 30 gallon water tank with high-flo gold series 2.1 GPM pump
  • Campchef On Demand Hot water heater
  • Weber 2200 Grill with 20lb propane tank
  • Birch shelving for all your camp cooking supplies with collapsible kitchen sink and water supply. There is plenty of food preparation space, fridge slide out with a second sliding shelf, a dropdown table as well as an aluminum drop table attached to the inside kitchen door.
  • LED Interior lighting and switch panel with 12 volt meter to control all your lights, pump as well as charge your devices.
Interior:
  • Storage side is built out with 4 compartments for all your equipment, tools and/or toiletries. We carry our camp chairs, porta potty and propane fire pit.
  • We crafted walls that can be used with the batwing awning in inclement weather or on the tent side for showers, as a change room etc.

are you willing to sell the trailer separate from the tent and awning? How much? Where is it located? Everything functioning properly? Titled and plated? Mileage and DOT dates on tires. Appreciate it.

Thank you very much Spcbvail. Such a great trailer, it preformed great off grid in Big Bend and through Engineer Pass in Colorado. We love it.

Is the trailer tongue 14' or overall length of trailer 14'? is the tongue removable? What is the height from the ground to the awning ?
Thanks in advance.

Lance thank you for the inquiry. The overall length is 14’, tongue is not removable. The height of the awning is dependent on the level of air in the air shocks but approximately 6 ft. The height can also modified by changing mounting brackets.
