Took the truck on some trails in Oklahoma. Lots of them from the onX app that I wanted to try out near and in the Ouachita National Forest. Beautiful area.
I ran into this bridge that was cut in half in the middle of the lake that seemed a perfect place for some pics. ?
Ended up spending the night about 5 miles from that bridge on a lake just south of it.
I spent alot of time driving the trails in the national forest. And none of them were difficult at all. About a 3. I'll definitely go back and explore even deeper in the future.
About three months ago we purchased an M1102 that already was a great starting point to slightly modify into a camper for us. We purchased it, and brought it home for the buildup. This is it where we picked it up in storage. Awesome starting point IMO, with GREAT bones.

Need to try and finish it before January or February so I can use it when I drive to Colorado for the Bowen Customs bed in the February to March timeframe. Lots of truck changes in the works with that. Hallmark is on crazy backorder, so the camper we ordered won't likely be in till late 2023 or later. Have been perusing the used Hallmark market to hopefully find something similar. But for now, trailer build, then new clutch, and some more adds on the truck soon.
Well I'm soon going to have my Bowen Bed on, and was looking to see if anyone on here needed a good topper cheap, and possibly the rear bumper as well, unless someone local picks it up or I keep it. I made a Craigslisting for the topper if someone is interested.
I have the topper sold and will be removed this Saturday. Bumper should be off by Monday. Then pull the bed on Wednesday and pull all the associated wiring from the bed and tailgate, as well as backup sensors and associated wiring.
Then drive to Colorado from Texas over Easter weekend to Bowen Customs for the bed installation Monday the 10th. I'm absolutely ecstatic about getting my bed. Get the heavy tools down low instead of high in the box topper, and open truck bed again unless we throw on the slide in, and head out with the trailer in tow.
Got the bed topper pulled today. Seems strange seeing it off after so many years. Now just bumper and bed to be pulled this week. 6 more days till the Colorado trip!
Hahaha... they are just about to pick me up at the hotel to bring me back to see it. Hopefully I'll have some pics soon. They needed the afternoon and this morning to finish up. Which is fine.
I'm still driving home, but stopped to take these a pics for now. I'll get some better ones later, but I'm having to make up a bit of time tonight driving to get home tomorrow.
