Got a few things finished this week. Still more prepping for the trip to Colorado. I got the front tires on, but the rears I don't yet. Waiting on Mopar wheel sensors. The Discount Tire off brands they use never would program. Got my Amsoil in for front and rear diff fluid change since I'm right at the mileage. And also changing the fluid in the transfer case. The oil, filter, and both fuel filters, as well as transmission oil were done just before Christmas. My angled Baja Designs Squadrons for the bumper came in, but somehow they screwed up and put work scene lenses in them, so I'm waiting on BD to swap them out. My navigation stuff is back in the truck, so its all set for the trip up.

The new tires are CHONKY. They are a couple inches taller than the Nittos coming off. Very impressive size difference.

Those toyos are meaty for sure. Two questions for you. #1 how do you like the software on that garmin overlander? I've toyed with picking up the tread for nav on my 2500 as I really enjoy the garmin I've got for towing a trailer in my dually. Thought it may be a nice unit to swap between my 2500 and newly acquired crf250l.

Also curious what's up with the laptop?

I actually like the Overlander. I think the tread will be even better. I really enjoy being able to upload to Explore, and it downloads to both my Garmin XT on the Motorcycles, and to this in the truck. My Garmin watch is also connected, and my wife can see where I am on the map if I'm away from the Garmin alone. That function is the same between both units.

And the laptop is a laptop. What do you mean what's up with it? I like having a laptop with me when I'm traveling. Easier sometimes than using the phone if I'm looking for GPX files, etc. And/or my wife will use it while I'm driving if she needs to do anything. The mount swivels into whatever position I want.
