My wife and I have traveled with our two dogs in this set up. The rear seat platform is perfectly set up for dogs (we put a dog bed down for their comfort). When traveling with just one of our dog they sleep in the tent with us and if traveling with both then they usually stay in cab or bed.

yes re getting van after it sells. Already have a few lined up so just waiting on this.
