Hello everyone. Figured this would be a good place to document the development of this 4Runner and receive some input from those who have done the same. It's based out of Southern California but has been through Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. The truck has just undergone its 20,000-mile maintenance at the dealership as of 05/2020. I purchased it as a stock 2019 4Runner TRD Pro w/o the OEM rock rails.

Modifications
1. Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform

1. Removed stock TRDPro roof rack. Installed a Rhino-Rack Backbone. Pictures coming soon. Pioneer platform en route. Backbone came with small unimpressive black adhesive gasket makers. Did not use the included gaskets. Filled the entire cavity left over by the backbone's mounting hardware with Clear RTV Silicone. It dried overnight and by the next day, it created a rugged seal.

We had a 2018, great platform. All of the racks on the market need extra sealant, so that's nothing out of the ordinary. Any plans to lift it?
