Have you noticed how the F550 - Ram 5500 platform requires more expensive add ons just to be equal to other platforms?

Suspension wheels and tires $39K alone

Specifically which platforms? Like other class 5 and 6 chassis?

^You don't need to spend anywhere near $39k... but you can, and some do. And they have a higher GVWR which requires the military tires if you want to use it all. If you are cool with 8k lbs per axle, then you can use LT tires.

Don't you need to pay for a 4x4 conversion on a NPR? That isn't cheap...

You don't need military tires

I bought 4000 lb weight category tires for $400
37X12.50R20 128Q F (12 Ply)

Higher GVWR at or under 16000 lbs is fine

And you don't need to pay $25000 for the suspension on the f550 or Ram 5500 platforms

The more I look at it, the more I like it. Looks like it's built with quality and functionality. I'm digging it. Can't afford it, but I'm digging it.

"14.5-foot Aluminum habitat with a king bed in cab-over and subframe built and mounted by Trivan. The box is 1/8” aluminum with 2” spray foam insulation. 4 insulated perimeter storage boxes and garage hatch by Trivan."

Trivan gets good reviews. I'd check on their subframe though...
