2019 F250 FWC Granby

I am starting a thread for my new setup. I will try and keep it updated.
Around Thanksgiving, I got an amazing deal on 2019 F250 6.7. I guess it just never sold, so they had it deeply discounted. I jumped.

Some of you might remember, I had picked up a very clean 7.3. a few months prior. The plan was to use the 7.3 with our FWC. My wife hated the 7.3, she hated everything about it. This is odd, b/c my wife loves driving trucks, offroad etc. This was very out of character. Regardless it put us in the market for something newer. We scooped up the 6.7

Here it is before I put the FWC on. The first thing I did was swap out the street tires for some 28575/18 wildpeaks

Here the truck is with the FWC.

One thing I noticed, is the Granby when fully loaded actually causes some rear sag. I was thinking of calling deaver to get some custom springs made. I saw on their site, they have a mini pack you can add. Does anybody have any experience with this?

I am torn between the Buckstop or the Trailready front bumper. I just want something that will offer protection, the ability to add a winch (16k) and be as low profile as a full bumper can be. Some of them stick out way too far for my liking.

Looks good! Any plans for suspension?
I was looking at the carli backcountry system
I am not looking to add 40" tires. I am pretty happy with 34.8" slimmer profile of the 285/75, in the future i might get a 17" wheel and run a true 35. Maybe just a 1.5-3" suspension upgrade. I really like the height and stance of the truck unloaded. Once I get the bumper and winch, I would like to get back to that stance.

Is it riding season yet?

The 285/75 is actually taller than a 35x12.50, those are 34.5".

If you plan to leave the FWC on mostly full time I would just add the leaf you're missing out of an F350 pack. Should solve the problem.

By far the best bumper for a SD. (in MY opinion)

Just curious what your wife didn’t like about the 7.3. Since you’ve had both, what are your thoughts on the 7.3 vs 6.7, especially with the FWC mounted?

Honestly old one ton trucks don't drive very well. I might even say they drive like S ***

When you say 7.3, do you mean 7.3l diesel? That makes sense to me, as the 20 years of innovation between the two diesel engines is considerable.

Now if you mean 7.3l gasoline engine, I really would love to hear about it too.

Nice! The older trucks are cool but the newer ones are just better. What trim is your truck? We have the camper package on ours but the FWC isn't heavy enough to engage the added helper. I'm an considering the progressive aal.
I ordered shocks from Accutune to go with Carli coils. Whenever that stuff finally shows up and I get our flatbed finished I will figure out what I'm doing with the leafs.

They are great looking bumpers. I want full protection.

The extra leaf, Is that something I can get from ford?

It was 7.3 Diesel, she hated how loud it was, how it smelled, how long it took to warm up, turning radius I can go on and on. It is really out of character for her since she loves driving our 1987 Toyota

it is definitely night and day compared to the newer stuff.

Mine is an xlt, nothing fancy. With the dogs, I knew I would be getting seat covers. I really just wanted the fx4 package for the locker. Who are going to get the leaves from?

I was surprised the Granby created some sag. Strong chance a flatbed is not far off.
