Hopefully, a picture gets posted of the installation of the engine - transmission plate, just to get an idea of coverage, particularly of the cats.

Would you mind taking a measurement of the interior height of the sleeping area of your aterra? From the floor to ceiling if you can. Does yours have the Froli system? If so, how do you like it?

From top of 3 big drawers to ceiling is 30.25".
From top of mattress surface to ceiling is 24.5".
I sleep most of the time with the drawers/bed not slid out into King bed mode, and thus above my head is where the ceiling starts slanting forward, so there's less headroom than 24
Yes, the Aterra's have the Froli system and I really like it. Never any condensation, comfy, no complaints at all.

My engine/trans skid is getting powder coated. I'll also post pics once installed. I've gone with the security hardware--don't need my cats getting robbed again--cats are completely protected.
Standard hardware is button/allen-head.

DON'T SELL THIS!!!!

You need to get out on some adventures. This is a great setup. Downsize won't satisfy you; your setup is already compact(ish).

I've gotten on some, and it is SUCH a capable and comfortable rig; many thanks to your own build and guidance Peter! Literally open the camper door and you can be in bed in 30seconds, or sitting at the dinette with a cold one, or cooking, or using the Wrappon under the pass side dinette seat, or.....

That didn't last long! What's next, Jeremy?

Well Keith, my life/footprint has changed dramatically, hence the decision. Difficult to sell, but also difficult to keep (memories; made and missed, especially surrounding my pup who always sat right behind me. He had the perfect perch view!).
Will advise on future plans when the time is right...

Strongly considering pulling the trigger on a very similar setup. Would you mind sharing any learnings you have had having it for a few years now? Are you still stoked?
He sold it. The people that bought it post on IG pretty regularly.
