hi there,
I've been looking for a Baroud but having difficulty. Would you say the roofnest is comparable in quality?
I'm actually located in Nova Scotia Canada but could drive down your way for pickup.

Hi Cathy,

We started looking for a James Baroud as well - Even called the company to try and find one. I bought the Roofnest as I thought it came close in features and size.

I can't really compare the quality as I haven't spent any time with a JB or even seen one in our area. I can say that the Roofnest has been good and the fiberglass, tent, bedding is well done. There are a few things on the fit and finish that could be improved - two corners of the tent were pinched 1-2mm in the lift arms - I patched and reinforced the spots with Tenacious Tape and haven't had any other issues.

Overall, we've been very pleased with the Roofnest Eagle. We've stayed in it about a dozen nights. My wife and I can deploy the tent in less than a minute and pack it up in under 2.
