Hi dstefan. First, thanks! It was a challenge to figure out how to install a heater in the X1 while still enabling the doors to fully open. I was finally inspired by snow camping hot tents. The stovepipe fitting are all held in place by gravity. To close the X1 top, you first pop off the stovepipe cap on the outside. Then on the inside, you pull up on the double pipe to disengage it from the double flange on top of the stove. Then pull the pipe out through the silicone stove jack and stow. There are springs around the inner pipe to keep it in centered inside the outer pipe. You remove them together. No need for removing one at a time. Takes less than a minute to install or remove.

Thanks. I've been playing around with hammock chairs and came up with the below pictured option. Pretty comfy and takes up very little space. Can use when the camper is closed. Can fasten them out of way like a curtain so that, together with the removable brushed aluminum chuck boxes, the whole bed can be emptied quickly and available for other uses.

Bump for a great truck. If I wasn't so obsessed with the Gen 3 Ecodiesel I'd have this in my driveway last week!

Much appreciated DirtWhiskey. I might have bought the diesel as well, but it wasn't yet available at the time. I often tow a boat. Torque is always good! The Sport S with the tow package had the highest towing capacity of the Gladiator lineup at the time.
