Why are you not including the frig/freezer? What model and size is it? My wife and I are in our 70's. How hard is it to get into the upper sleeping area? how difficult to pull the rear seats and install storage in that area? Could I mount L-track on the Goosegear to hold table, chairs, portapotty, etc.

Sorry for all the questions, but we are looking for something we can use to keep on overlanding into our 80's. Been at it for 50+ years so far. Can't do RTTs anymore, hate pulling trailers, and don't want a monster van. Have been looking at things like E350EB Sportsmobiles with lower sleeping capabilities, but the prices are now astronomical.

That's exciting that you are still getting out adventuring! No worries on all the questions. If you are seriously interested, shoot me a message with your number and I'm happy to call you. Where are you located?

Regarding the fridge, we use it in our Xterra also that is why it's not included. It's a Dometic CFX 55. If it's a deal breaker for you then we can work something out for it to be included.

My parents have a similar build and are in their late 60s, they use a telescoping ladder to make it easy to get up and get down from the sleeping area. I have an extra one sitting around and can include it with the sale.

The rear seats come out easily with just the pull of a strap which unlocks them. They are a but heavy but I can take both of them out in about two minutes; with an extra set of hands it's even faster.

You could definitely mount L-track on the goose gear platform but it actually has slots in the sides to attach tie downs. I currently have about 5 tie dow spots installed, which I use to secure all our gear using The Perfect Bungee.

Great van. A friend of mine put 1 million miles on one of these. Literally. He got to 900k or so and bought a new vehicle but let the new one sit until he hit his goal of 1 million in the Nissan.
