Well, this doesn't entirely fit the profile here as it's not a serious off-road trailer but maybe someone is looking for a great basecamp...

We purchased our trailer in December of 2019, one of the first 2020 models. We had it fully built out with all of the options except for the fridge: ac, the front bunks, toilet and indoor/outdoor shower, and 15” spare.

Location:
Marin County, CA

I ended up buying a different fridge for the trailer which had more capacity than the one Taxa sold. Ours is a National Luna 60L Legacy dual zone fridge (a South African company that has a great reputation). The fridge allows us to store enough food for a family of 4 for 3+ days. I also bought a mounting plate specific to that fridge which makes the connection to the trailer itself super secure. I’m open to selling the trailer with or without that. See pricing at the bottom for the option.

We’ve taken it on a number of trips, probably once a month with the exception being during the initial height of the pandemic where we stayed local. The longest was cross country from California to the east coast and back. We’ve had it down to about 18 degrees while winter camping at Lassen National Park (snowshoeing and sledding) and it’s served us extremely well through those situations. Just makes things tons of fun and comfortable without feeling like you are completely insulated from the outdoors.

If you know these trailers or this company at all you'll be aware of the attention to detail regarding organization and simplicity. The layout of the kitchen and storage is awesome. Tons of space for everything you need and you can keep everything really well organized and accessible for cooking.

You can check out more about Taxa here and the Mantis specifically here. Note that they changed the interior galley layout pretty significantly between 2020 and 2021.

Condition
All systems work perfectly. Water, electric, hot water, heater. Hot water and the heater have been used rarely.

Overall condition of the body and interior of the trailer itself, is excellent/like new with the below exceptions:
- There are some very light scuffs and scratches through normal use on the surface under the milk crate storage.
- There are a couple of chips on the edge of one of the laminate surfaces on one countertop.
- On the exterior there is one small dent in one panel you only see in the right light.
- Also some paint scuffing on the rear ladder area when we strapped a steel jerry can to the trailer for a long trip.

What else comes with the trailer
I’m also throwing in a number of upgrades / supplies we bought to finish out anything we needed to be ready for use:
- Dual deep cycle batteries
- 160W Zamp solar panel suitcase. ($600 new)
- Hose and filter for hooking up to water.
- Wheel levelers.
- Two sets of wheel chocks.

Basically this trailer is ready to go!

Cost
Trailer with everything but the fridge and fridge mounting plate: $36,500
With fridge and mounting plate: $37,800
