2021 F150 Tremor Thoughts?

Anybody considering the new F150 Tremor? I was pretty set on a Gladiator Rubi for my next rig, but the F150 Tremor offers more space and payload for hauling kids and dogs. Im currently running a 2012 F150 with a very similar setup to a stock Tremor.

Midsize is pretty tough with kids. Unless you are talking day trips only, long road trips = not great. I tried to make 2 of them work, but no go. Full size is a must (for me).

I’d keep your F150. But if you were to get a new truck, the Tremor package isn’t a bad option. I’d opt for one if I were buying a new F150 today. Well worth the $4k for me.

Are they only offering it on crew cabs like on the super duty?

Yes. Supercrew, short bed.

I’m fine with it but I’m sure others will not be happy. Probably a business decision as I’m sure Supercrew/Shortbed outsells just about every other configuration. Especially for folks that would value this type of package.

Is it 4K? I haven't seen any pricing yet.

Yep. Probably the same rational behind the Power Wagon and Super Duty Tremor being crew cabs. Not sure, but are Raptors crew cab only now?

Just some blurb on some article. Can’t imagine it being much more.

I do believe they got rid of the Supercab option with the new gen.
I just read it's a separate trim level on the F-150 (like XLT, Lariat, Platinum etc..) , not on option package like the Super Duty and Ranger.

Curious to see how a regular Max Tow 302A F150 compares in Price to a Mid (401A) F-150 Tremor. I guess the 400A Tremor is like an STX and 402A is like a 502A Lariat.

Kind of a bummer cause I thought I read they were getting the Raptor transfer case which, I hoped meant 4 auto in an XLT type trim truck.

This was the article. Dated back in Dec so probably dated material.

I see it’s a trim level like you were saying.
Looks good though!

Do you have a current gen F150?

I get what you're saying but the back seats and cargo area are not all that bad- tons of room in the back as well. I've taken a few trips with 1 -2 humans and/or 1-2 dogs in the back. 2 adults and 2 dogs was tight but everyone had room when it was 1 human and 2 dogs. My space problem was in the bed because of the 5.5...that extra foot would have been great for that trip.

I think the Tremor option on a 150 will be their golden ticket and will be wildly popular.

I don't know. I think a Ranger crew vs a F150 Crew is a big difference in room. I think a Ranger crew would be tight for a family of 4.

I also feel like the FX4 and the Tremor are basically the same thing- Tremor just has better tires and aux switches which you can have installed from factory on most models. The only REAL difference is the limited slip in the front when they actually release it later in the year
