Hi Christof, very nice build you have here! I’ve caught a few of your YouTube videos as well 👍. How are you liking the Carli XHD leafs? I’m considering these for my F250/FWC Loaded Hawk setup. Do you happen to know your rear axle weight you are running

Thanks for any feedback you can share.

Hi Mark,

I no longer own the rig as I am building a new one. I do not have the weight information, but overall, leaf springs did their job well and I am glad I upgraded.

You want to check to make sure the 2,000 lb limit comes close to what you have. My new rig is an F350 and will carry more weight, so I am going with the XXHD leaf springs and custom-tuned shocks (all Carli).

If you want to be more specific to your rig, contact Deaver or similar companies and have them build you a custom set. It should not be much more expensive than Carli (which are Deaver leaf springs).

PS: Thank you for watching my videos. The newer videos show you in more detail what my new rig will be like.

Gotcha, thanks Chris. The Mojave Road videos were great, I really want to see that area now. Last suspension question: look like you had the Carli Pintop 2.5“ level upfront? Did the front springs and shocks work well for the camper weight?

Thanks again, Mark

Yes, exactly. Pintop 2.5" - it worked great. Definitely can recommend it.

Ya.. wondered if the 4.88 would be to much. 4.56 with weight and tires would be perfect, not an option for the truck. Good to hear the 4.30 you are happy. My 37’s and Carli are sitting in garage ready to be installed
