Its East West bed, my wife decorates it North/South. I think this picture was at one of the overland expos. Notice the gratuitous decorative pillows.
For the Cruisers the east west and north south beds are the same dimensions. On the E class, the north south bed has to be retracted into lounge mode to allow entry through the door. We decided on the east/west to allow entry/exit if someone is sleeping on the bed. On the S and T class the nose is longer so a north/south bed does not interfere with the door entrance.
Another advantage of the east/west bed is the amount of under bed storage you have. There is probably double the storage under the bed on the sides and drawers than the north south configuration. You do lose the side closets with the east/west though.
