We've had nearly four fantastic years with this van that we first purchased in March 2022 (new) as an empty cargo van. It was initially built out for an extended summer trip to Prudhoe Bay, AK (and back east across the width of Canada), and since then has taken us back and forth across North America numerous times. It has been our trusty temporary home on wheels for 3-5 week ski trips each winter, through terrain van's don't normally see, and for the first two years of its life, it was even my daily driver. As with all of my previous builds, life changes and needs change, which means this one needs a new home. Other builds include: '24 Grenadier, '21 Tundra, '21 Tacoma. The original build thread (hasn't been updated in a long time) for the van is here.

As stated, it was a DIY build after a lot of research. The suspension, skid plates, sliders, winch mount, fuel tank, and snorkel were all done by Apex Overland in Reidsville, NC; everything else (shy of the window tint) was done by me, with a few helping hands for the Dometic AC install.

I'll start the description off by saying this is not a flashy Instagram build that will get you hundreds or thousands of followers. There's nothing wrong with those builds, but this isn't that. This is a functional, straightforward build that just simply works for either a couple or a solo adventurer, and was build for our style of travel. What is that style? Everything from one night trips to a camp in a field, to 6 weeks on the road traveling around the continent. We've traveled in temps down into the -20°F range and above 100°F, and the van and components just work. The battery bank is specifically sized to allow for ~12-14 hours with the AC running in boost mode, which is a worst case scenario for us spending the night somewhere before being able to hit the road the following day to recharge. My usual introduction to showing people the van when they ask about it is that it is everything two people need to travel for as long as they'd like, except for a shower. I'm positive I'm leaving out a lot of small things in this, but here is the list that immediately comes to mind as far as upgrades and alterations
