New 2022 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Super V6 Automatic Dual Cab 4x4 Overland Expedition Off-Road Camper Motorhome with about 10500 miles. One owner. Clean title. No accidents.
Truly one of a kind rig. Imagine taking off on epic adventure that is less restrictive having fewer limitations with an extremely capable 4x4 Overland Expedition Vehicle exploring the great outdoors while enjoying the comforts of a four season insulated camper and go off grid for extended periods of time.
The truck is a Tacoma SR5 Super which features a 278 HP 3.5 L Engine V6 Automatic 4x4, which is comparable to the TRD. For you Tacoma enthusiasts, the question I often get is why the SR5 and not a TRD. Well, other than this truck is SR5 Super with similar specs but not the bells and whistle of the TRD trim, the SR5 stock payload capacity is up to 1685 lbs. which is higher than the TRD at 1525 lbs. The difference of 160 pounds may not sound like a lot but that combined with significantly stronger aftermarket parts to beef up the payload capacity allows this truck to support the camper shell. To accommodate the payload, the rear suspension has been upgraded with Old Man Emu heavy duty leaf springs, road active suspension helpers, Firestone air bags, and upgraded shocks. The front suspension has been upgraded as well with adjustable coil overs.
The camper itself is all electric. Simply put, there are 4 Lithium Ion Batteries totaling 400ah, which is charged by 6 Solar Panels totaling 600 watts through the Solar Charger to support 2800 continuous/3000 maximum watts of electricity usage by the Power Inverter. No propane or diesel fuel to ever refill. The Camper body is constructed out of Composite FRP panels, which is approximately 1.5 inches thick capable of handling four seasons making it very efficient to heat and cool. The insulation is lighter and stronger than the material used in most campers. Has plenty of cabinet storage. The counters are made with a non-stick easy to clean laminate surface. Able to go off grid as long as there is access to water supply. It will seat 4 adults in the dual cabin of the truck. The rear seats can be removed for pets or additional storage. The middle rear seat has been deleted to allow access for the pass thru from the cabin into the truck. The camper has a real queen size bed above the cabin. The rear dinette coverts into an additional twin / double size bed. The truck frame is fully boxed and secured from front to back with U-bolts to the truck chastity and gussets welded as well. I was informed that the complete build had over 400 man hours.
Specs of the vehicle includes:
Fiamma F45S Awning
24 inch LED Smart TV
Bluetooth Radio
Bluetooth Speakers
Large Skylight over front bed
Microwave
12 volt Fridge and Freezer combo (separate compartments)
400 Watts Convection Heater

Measurements are approximately 21.5 ft in length and 10.5 ft in height.
Purchased from the west coast where it was just built around 2500 miles and driven 4000 miles on its maiden voyage back east where it is now for sale. This custom camper vehicle is built on a Toyota Tacoma, which has been recognized as one of the best 4x4 off-road vehicles. It can be compared to other Toyota custom expedition vehicles like the Tacozilla and the TruckHouse Tacoma (), which has a base price of $350,000. It’s like having your own mini Earth Roamer, which will get plenty of attention and compliments.
Before commenting on the price, please read the full description. This is not your basic 2 wheel drive Class-C RV motorhome or slide-in truck camper you load on the truck bed that you can just pick up at an RV dealer. This truck and built-on camper body has been customized and heavily modified for overlanding and expeditions, not just for a weekend camping trip.
Look up other similar expedition type vehicles like TruckHouse, 27 North, Rexrover, Earth Roamer, and you will realize that these custom builds are not cheap. Building something similar yourself will require a lot of knowledge, research, expertise, intensive labor, extensive hours, and just as much it not more money to achieve this level of a professional build.
I’m certain this post will generate plenty of interests and requests for showing. Unless you are a serious buyer able to provide proof of funds, please do not contact. Verification of funds with your bank will be needed before I can provide an appointment for showing. Will include brand new unused Maxtrax MKII Recovery Boards in Gunmetal color for accepted offers at full price.
Payment must be made by Cashier’s Check or Wire. Will respond to serious inquiries only.
Video is for a price point and savings comparison for the vehicle that I am selling. You are getting something very similar to the custom built vehicle in the video for a lot less. The price reflected has been significantly lowered to sell and does not have much flexibility for negotiations. Be advised that I am in no hurry to sell and will plan on doing more travels if the vehicle does not sell.
