Right - I understand the full price at $150K and totally get that pricing a rig like this is a challenge - and what a great rig! But I am wondering how you break that down b/t the value of the truck and the value of the camper individually.
Yes Supertramp did sell here on the fourm for that price. I can't remember how much I paid for mine but more then 66k. The front and rear pumpers and winch alone was 8k and 4 month wait. Most vehicles on this fourm are turn key and ready to hit the road. Many who buy from here and other overland sites don't want to wait to do a build.
Fair enough. I've seen many people offer up total rig prices with breakdowns, so was curious if the OP had done the same in his own calculations. It's helpful for me, at least, as a potential buyer to see that when comparing to other rigs I am considering. But that' completely the seller's prerogative of course! I was just asking.

Yeah no worries. It's vert difficult to put a price on something like this, there is no "kelly bluebook" unfortunately. I know I have at least, just from recepts have 185k investment in this rig. Some stuff was installed myself like the bumpers and winch. When you look,at the big picture nothing on the rig was "shelf pull" bumpers delivered on pallets to the house. The suspension was delivered on two pallets at home. It also took roughly 8 months to order wait for delivery, remove old parts and put new stuff on. I was going to put a flat bed with all the storage space but I couldn't and wouldn't justify the 25k dollar price tag and at least 9 month wait time. People who sell rigs here sell them here because many people want a Turn-key unit. As far as what I spent on it and why others post what they paid for everything is comparing apples 2 oranges.
