Well....that's exciting!
Our 2023 MotoCamp Adventure Run (Adventure Tool Company and Beardman Off-Road) through Colorado and Utah this September (see previous posts for details) is now partnering with OnX Offroad Maps!
This means well be creating a digital route and do daily updates with attached photos so those interested can follow along!
The route will also be a available at OnXmaps.com for those that wish to duplicate it!D5D58E1C-2228-443D-AD62-5AA6704F7D9F.jpeg84FB142C-FAB5-4CEE-9FFF-BA115DBB1E8F.jpeg3169423B-2CED-4C1D-BE7F-6A93CC9537E8.jpg148EB298-A47E-4FC9-ACBD-11BF08E84286.jpgF81EB050-04B6-4E75-B80C-603B52667C67.jpg8D1555B5-3ABB-466C-9BEE-9448E1F7F07B.jpeg

So, went from a disassembled mess, broken fuel intake and torn o-rings to PUFF magical rainbow and got it all tuned, tweeked and reassembled today. It runs so much better (for a 20 year old adventure bike!) Next is load it up and do a couple of test rides before the big 2023 MotoCamp Run!

This looks great. Is this open to all? Can I meet you in the middle? Do you have reservations in place for the camp sites? thanks

Morning-

It is open to all. We have several riders that have expressed interest in "meeting up" along the route and riding along. No solid confirmations as of yet.

We will be posting along the route on OnX Offroad Maps, facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, etc...and can communicate directly with those wanting to ride along.

Camping along the mountain routes will be dispersed camping within the National Forest or BLM. Campsites should not be a problem this time of year and have never been a problem the past several years. Note: The weather is starting to change already in the high country so pack for and expect high 30's to low 40's at night at 9000". The third night will be in Utah at the 3Steps Hidden Inn and on-site camping/dinner/breakfast reservations have been made. If this an option for you lmk and I can add you to that reservations (campsite fee, meals, drinks fees apply). And, we may be staying on a friends property outside Moab the fourth night, so private property rules would apply (if scheduling doesn't workout for the friend property we'll be camping in LaSal mountain range or Moab desert.

LMK if you have any questions or PM me. Cheers.

Now you just need to make it all fit on the bike! The pre-planning and packing are fun for me.

Just a little story in the day of life of an adventure rider........You enter Disappointment Valley, Colorado. Your buddy gives you a SPOT satellite rescue becon. You go into the desert heading to Utah. You get a flat. You miss your turn due to the trail being over grown with sunflowers. You get into several dirt and sand crashes due flash flood trail damage. You run sand washes on 705's and life sucks. Your two hours late and your buddy and the 3Steps Hidden Inn owner come and rescue you. You eat, drink and pass out at the gorgeous oasis 3Steps Hidden Inn in the Utah desert. That’s adventure!91301660-0DAC-405A-98B6-EE1B6D1F5A7E.jpeg16FF12A8-D67A-4D86-9E8B-0DEC499E905D.jpegC31EAF60-162F-47F2-A289-070C87CF3808.jpeg8ED8EA56-E13D-4466-B2C0-05A676E1836B.jpegF6517F6D-A477-414F-A873-5E2638CA5B4D.jpegD7BB6205-7807-463B-8AD4-EB0A452494DF.jpeg70BE49FF-AA2C-443C-9A44-1DCA899D9DA1.jpeg
