This is a brand new camper that's built specifically for a first Generation Toyota Tacoma. This will likely fit older Toyota pickups with a 6’ bed as well. The Mousetrap V3 camper is designed to be comfortable and convenient. Made with all waterproof materials. Welded aluminum frame and aluminum composite exterior skin. Pops up and is ready to go in seconds. Very quick closing operation. The cabover section on this camper is taller than most wedge style pop ups. This means you can have up to a 6’ mattress with bedding set up at all times, no folding blankets or storing a mattress when you're on the go. When extended, the bed area is 78”X52” allowing for a standard size full mattress. When the bed platform is extended you still have 3 feet from the edge of the bed to the back wall. This means half of the interior room is still open to stand up/cook ect. while the bed is set up. When the bed and platform are folded in half they both stow in the cabover section of the camper, giving you the entire length of the truck bed to stand up in. The hybrid Solid/Soft wall design means the roof is extremely sturdy when popped up as well as overall feeling less like a tent. Easily swap out the standard duty gas lifting struts for a heavy duty set allowing the roof to pop up and close with up to 250lbs on top. The 4 crossbar roof rack is on a track so you can adjust its position and utilize the entire length of the roof as needed. No more unloading gear to pop up. This is a true 4 season camper with waterproof foam insulation in the walls and 1” of synthetic fiber insulation quilted into the canvas walls. The 12V fuse panel makes adding other 12v accessories easy. The interior paneling is waterproof FRP panel so you don't need to worry about its longevity plus its extremely durable and easy to clean. The V3 is the first Mousetrap camper that has the ability to be mounted or removed with the use of standard camper jacks. The jack adapter brackets can be purchased for an additional $350.
The camper mounts like a truck topper would by sitting on the bed rails. You can use standard topper clamps to mount it but through bolting to the bedrails is recommended if you plan on doing much offroading. If you choose to mount with topper clamps they will be provided for an extra $50.
