I always wondered why people spend all this money then end up selling so quickly.
I think as "overlanding" has become more mainstream, it has attracted a lot of people that are "car guys" (or gals) first, and travelers second. They probably take just as much if not more more interest in building a rig with all the coolest parts than they do using it, though I'm sure it varies by person. Plus once you have $100k+ in a truck, you're tied to that high income job to keep paying for stuff, which means it's hard to take off weeks and go adventuring. I'm not one to tell anyone how to spend their money, there's room for everyone in the hobby, and I'm glad I get to ogle the super cool, high end builds, but let's not pretend that this rig would take you anywhere that a 2003 Tacoma wouldn't...
