Like them very much, E load rated reasonable price, quiet. Great wet and snow traction, wear well. I've got about 15k on them so far.

2012 Tacoma ORDC Sporting Some New 235/85R16's

Just got these put on yesterday. They're a set of Cooper's ST MAXX tires mounted on painted stock rims. The tires are a slight bit noisier than stock at 75mph, but still very comfortable. My guess is anyone else wouldn't even notice the noise. Waiting to see how the new tires affect gas mileage. I should have some indication in about a week.

The build has officially started! :wings:

Do 235/80R17's count?? I'd rather they were 16's, but I already had 17" wheels, and the tires were WAY too good a deal not to pick them up. I run these for mileage trips instead of the 285 BFG's. They're Chevy dually take-off Michelins, and the compound must be rock hard, as they aren't that great at all in the snow and ice. They're a pretty good size for this truck, though a 255/80R17 would be cooler. :) wolf creek 2500.jpg

^ That's a sweet rover!

I have to ask though, anyone go from a lighter, softer C load tire to the E loaded 235s and noticed any major differences (weight, stiffer ride over washboard etc)? It's my only hang up going with the 235/85/16 vs. 265/75/16.
